Our latest version of Sail Ship is a smooth and nutty washed lot from a smallholder collective in Colombia’s Cauca region, transported by sail across the Atlantic Ocean. Shipped from Colombia to France, Sail Ship forms part of a larger project with likeminded partners who are addressing the carbon emissions associated with traditional coffee transportation. The initiative sees coffee and other cargo shipped by state of the art, wind-powered sailing vessels, that reduce carbon emissions by 4x when compared to average diesel-powered sea freight.
