It originates from Cauca, Colombia, specifically from the region of Popayán. Grown at an altitude of 1500-2070 MASL, this coffee is processed using Ethyl Acetate (Sugar Cane) decaf method. The beans come from the POPAYAN farm/mill/co-op by the partner COFINET. The geographical location and topography of the region create the perfect conditions for exceptional coffee growth, resulting in a balanced cup profile with floral and caramel notes. Cofinet works closely with around 65 growers to build long-term relationships, encouraging them to focus on quality, for which they receive up to 20% premiums above the market price based on quality assessment.
