Peru Café Femenino is a single origin coffee with a rich body, bright acidity, and notes of milk chocolate, blackcurrant, and battenberg cake. The coffee is grown by 800 women farmers, part of six associations within the CECANOR Co-Operative. The coffee uses varietals like Bourbon, Catuai, Catimor, Typica, Gran Colombia, and Villa Sarchi, a rare mutation of Bourbon. The coffee supports a female-only cooperative and serves as a vehicle for social change and empowerment of women coffee farmers. Sustainability and carbon neutrality are key focuses of the brand.
